Default Valve cap LEDs

headed down to my local super cheap shop today and picked up some go fast pedals and some valve cap LEDs for my VL, now i figured i could easily locate info on whether the LEDs were legal to use in nsw or not by the rta site. no dice. so does anyone know if i can use these sweet little ricertoys without attratcting the boys in blue and a fine?

Dunno to be honest, I did hear from one person that they are illegal in NSW, but that wasn't really backed up with facts...

Did you look here? It's the RTA Vehicle Standard Information Sheets...dunno if it's there or not but I suspect it's worth a check if you haven't already...

As long as they aren't red or blue you shouldn't have any troubles I guess, I drove around with red ones for a while, back when I had them, and never got pulled over by the police, in fact I don't think any police saw me, and my brother put blue ones on a white vx that looked alot like a cop car, he also didn't get pulled over.

Here in SA ALL those little lights regardles of colour are illegal, alot of coppers wont say much if its not red or blue, but even white is not allowed whilst the car is in motion. All the ricer-ish stuff like that, along with sports steering wheels & alum pedals etc. Is all sold with the note "only for off road/show use" lol

reminds me of the signs in tobacco shops on bongs "only for tobacco use"

I know its like that in SA so prob doesnt help you much.
