I don't think I'd ever use it unless I was going down the 1/4 or doing a few laps around a circuit, but even then in my car it would hardly be worth it.

From no other point of view other than safety.....MAKE DAMN SURE YOUR SEATBELT MOUNTING BOLT IS LONG ENOUGH!!!!!!!!

I would assume from the way it is mounted that you may not be roadworthy anymore. I am sure that there are legal things to consider with the bolting down of seatbelts.

Other than that I hope your not six foot 2 with big shoulders and long hair...
