Ive cut a hole in the bottom of my intake to the air box in my VN and fixed a piece of flexi pipe in the hole which sticks out the front of the car behind the front skirt, the air is now being pushed in not sucked in and i find it doesn't labour up hills in 5 gear any more, does this mean im using more fuel or does the car use less coz the engine does doesn't have to work as hard to suck the air in

just a cheap version on CAI, i would use less fuel cause it would be running alittle colder and getting more air
