Default Blower for a V6 Engine - Best way / advice on what to do

Im looking at getin a blower for my engine, but im not sure about which brand or how to go about it. I know about CAPA blowers and so on but i want to know is there any others out there not listed?

Is it worth doing, or would it be beter to do more internal work, eg cam crank rockers etc? The main reason for doing it is so i can beat those ricers at the lights and for when its finished i can take it out to willowbank.

The engine is going into my Rodeo Single cab, as im in the process of converting it from a work truck into a minitruck.

Cheers

Dan

It's ok to bolt a blower onto an stock V6 as long as you dont let the boost exceed 10psi. Anything over 10psi will require a rebuild with lower compression pistons and an intercooler or water injection. Powerdyne chargers are pretty good value, and are easy to bolt on as they dont need to tap into the oil from the engine to cool the bearings, because they are ceramic bearings. However, I think it would be better value and reliabilty to purchase a second hand factory s/c V6 and give it a few bolt on mods, or a turbo if you are after serious power.

Have a look at www.v6supercharged.com.au for some inspiration!!!
