Replacement engine bits? (lifters, injectors etc)

Hi all,

Another post about my VX Series II ecotech.

I've posted a few times before in the VX forums about a ticking engine... which still hasn't really stopped. My car runs out of factory warranty next March - which is still a while away, but I want to plan things early.

I'm looking at replacing the injectors and possibly the hydraulic lifters (as well as cleaning out the throttle body, as per my previous post in this forum) at the end of the year.

How much would I be expecting to pay for these? Can I replace the injectors myself? (I won't dare install lifters myself!)
