New Alloytec V6 = Impressive..

Just saw my first Alloytec up close tonight, Very impressive design.. only a few things i can have a whinge about,

Remote Oil Filter Mounded on the passengers side off the side of the rocker cover.
Inlet manifold covers #2,6 and #3,5 on both sides... is going to make 100,000 services fun.

Apart from that few other things i spotted that are new on the chassis is the exhaust system..twin cats instead of the single in the VY. No more sway bar rubbers.. as seen in the VY the VZ looks like to have a differnt setup.. hard to explain.

Cant wait too start working on them

......I was hoping to go down to holden today and get a peak at the new alloytec and VZ up in the flesh but noo i had to get called into work....ill put it on hold until monday

Inlet manifold covering 4 plugs!! God damn!!, its hard with the vl with 2 that are awkward.

im with you on that one

what you rekon the chances of conning a dealer into me thinking im gonna trade my VS in for a new SV6 and letting me have a test drive are ....

You can always rent one too, saves the long line at a dealers for the demo whore

Avis and Hertz usually get them pretty early if not as soon as they're released. It's a good idea to lose the rear window sticker along the way too

Rental cars are good fun

Have to agree on that one.....same as company cars .....im still in love with the little vent thingy *grin*
