    Default Electronic Locking Diff

    g'day ladies and gents.

Would like to know 2 things, and before you flame these are strictly for when I will be going to Willowbank Raceway to drag...

    1. Is a locking diff legal (as in, flick a switch and its locked, flick back and its unlocked) and what is the price compared with an LSD?

    2. How much do line lockers cost
    * Phreddy's Blaupunkt Aux input and line out mod
    * 18x8 inch Equus Kalibur Wheels with Maxxis MAV-1 235/40R18
    * Sureflo 3.5 inch medium-loud cat back exhaust

I have to agree with Ripcell about the legal issues.... pricewise... mucho $$$ I think it would easy cost over 2G as it would have to be custom made.

I ask because I want something that gives good solid, unrelenting traction at both wheels for drags @ willowbank, but with the flick of a switch becomes the old open wheeler for daily driving. I am a little concerned about what I have heard with the LSD's loosening up over time and slipping more and more. Considering the prices though, it would have to be LSD, with a ratio change while I'm at it.
