Default removing window winder handles

im having a struggle getting my windows winders off my VX.

anyone know of any special tricks to get at the pin that holds them on?

I'm not sure exactly, I've heard stories of sliding a piece of cloth underneath and pulling it sharply, however for a vx you'd wanna be more gentle I guess.

You can by the winder winder removal tools, probably from supercheap

use a door handle removing tool, available from most tool suppliers

I used a butter knife with no teeth.. It worked a treat..

i use a pushbike tyre lever. just keep an eye out for the bit that may fly anywhere in the garage.

Yep go for the bike tyre lever or get an old flat head screw driver n bend the end to like a 45degree angle this makes it so u can get round the bak of the winder....heaps easier than trying to do it with a butter knife as it wont be pressing against the door.....

ohhh i dont envy you having to find it. ive had them fling so far accross the shed its not funny. and if anyone knows my shed the chances of finding it between wood shavings and car parts is slim.
