VR front door speaker size - already searched..

Yep, but you can squeeze 6.5s in..

Thats because 6.5" speakers are generally the exact same size as a 6" speaker.

Its just some companies include the grill etc. in their measurements, while others dont.

Yeah, but if there's one thing I hate about the trusty commie, its trying to dismantle the interior. I pulled My VR door apart today and its bloody hard to take it apart without breaking fiddly plastic bits and the centre console is even worse. Took me ages to find a replacement plastic surround around the bottom of the manual gear shift on my VP SS after the local audio guys broke the tabs on it while installing a CD player.

why do they always make them so hard to take apart?
