ok guys what have u been getting with your 6...
i took it easy one tank said i was getting 11.5 per/100 and only got 515 out of 65 litres not good! now thats not letting it get over 3 grand... but when i give it some i use less!!! explain? hows everyone elses?
i reckon quick acceleration but not over 4000rpm + gives best economy as the engine is not labouring for long periods of time to get to speed
yeh keap it under 2000rpm or 2500rpm my consumption goes way down
also making your car drop a gear all teh time cost you big time (eg. booting it in 3rd making it drop to 2nd and rev out befor going back to 3rd)

Mine is at about 13.0lt/100kms at the moment. City driving, haven't taken it out for a long drive in a while. I get about 550 or so k's to a tank... I havent worked it out properly, but every time i fill up thats about the average it says i have left till empty.
But wait... There's more!!
But that's not all!!!

Mine is about 12 - 13litres per 100km city driving. The fuel economy will be worse if the engine is laboured at low revs though.
jeez u guys are doing allright, im getting 350-380 a tank. but thats with average driving, so i could probably pull close to 440 if i drove like a respectable old lady
i got about 380 out of my last weeks tank of 66 litres until i started to get iffy and decide to put petrol in it, not sure what that is per 100, but i hit it nicely then usually start pounding it after a day after filling it up. lol
im gonna try and be nice this week.
I got from Bathurst to Seymour with a tank of V-Power and the car fully laden with camping gear so was impressed with that (only took 55 litres to fill it up full as well near Seymour so did something close to 700 kilometres on 55 litres)
took my car to qld last weekend got 8.1 per 100 on my gauge... tho when u work it out it was actually 8.8 per 100 got 800ks 70 litre tank... not too bad, also one trip premium one trip normal and both were the same tho i have heard bps ultimate is the way to go...
mmm i think when you use ultimate you have to use it constantly to get the benefits, because ive put the odd tank of prem in and it doesnt make a dif. however two of my mates swear by it and they use it all the time. im still not convinced though...
This week i got about 400 out of the tank(63L) That about average for me. I can get about 600 if i drive normal.
Australia. Love it or leave it
i seem to get around 500/550 out of my VT SS 5.0l
mmm with thoughtful driving i get about 350 km's per tankThats on the highway. Last week all i did was town km's in the SS, perhaps 200 max, used almost 3/4 tank

in my VS i'd get around 11-12 L/100k... which is pretty good considering my driving style. closer to 10 on highway runs.
VY SS? highway <10L/100k. i went 240km and used a quarter of a tank. it gets better fuel economy travelling at 110 in 6th than it does travelling at 100. around town i'm looking at anywhere between 12 and 18 L/100k, depending on how i drive it![]()
there all good amount of k.s
in my vl i get around 350 - 400 a tank which is 60L sumthng i think.
before my car wasnt tuned i got 180kms to a tank for about a month, SHOCKING
but there were variables causing that
