i reckon quick acceleration but not over 4000rpm + gives best economy as the engine is not labouring for long periods of time to get to speed

yeh keap it under 2000rpm or 2500rpm my consumption goes way down
also making your car drop a gear all teh time cost you big time (eg. booting it in 3rd making it drop to 2nd and rev out befor going back to 3rd)

i tested my theory with me parents car and it used more petrol keeping it under 2200rpm than to take it upto 3000rpm quickly getting up to speed

As opposed to my 450km out of 65 litres, which is exceptional economy.
515km isn't bad

Mine is at about 13.0lt/100kms at the moment. City driving, haven't taken it out for a long drive in a while. I get about 550 or so k's to a tank... I havent worked it out properly, but every time i fill up thats about the average it says i have left till empty.

Mine is about 12 - 13litres per 100km city driving. The fuel economy will be worse if the engine is laboured at low revs though.

i got about 380 out of my last weeks tank of 66 litres until i started to get iffy and decide to put petrol in it, not sure what that is per 100, but i hit it nicely then usually start pounding it after a day after filling it up. lol
im gonna try and be nice this week.

I got from Bathurst to Seymour with a tank of V-Power and the car fully laden with camping gear so was impressed with that (only took 55 litres to fill it up full as well near Seymour so did something close to 700 kilometres on 55 litres)

mmm i think when you use ultimate you have to use it constantly to get the benefits, because ive put the odd tank of prem in and it doesnt make a dif. however two of my mates swear by it and they use it all the time. im still not convinced though...
