Default whats the best way to paint alloy rims?

I got some paint on my rims and tried removing it with metho and thinners but didn't work so I got out the sand paper and waddya know my rims are already painted So here's what I can do, I can sand em all back and polish them up real shiny or I can paint them black, I done one today and I dont think it looks too bad

but either way I chose, whats the best way of painting it so it doesn't chip to easily? or am I dreamin
Thanks in advance

Best idea would be to get them powder coated. It'll cost around 150, maybe 200 depending on where you go, but thats worth it to have all 4 rims top quality.

powder coating is far and above the best method of colouring rims.

it took me 2 hours with about 15 80grit discs on a panelbeaters sander to get the powdercoating off a white ute tray

your wheels will be INVINCIBLE!!! (nearly) haha

Thanks guys, I remember doing power coating jewelery in high school it was quite fun and I got top marks for mine I might have to leave it for awhile but as $$$$ is low, I'll just have to spray them for now till I get more funding
