Rim Id system's....
been thinking about this for a while, when i get my new rims in a few weeks ill be sketchn about some bugger pinching them, so i was wondering is there any system that is in action to help keep track of them if it dose happen like Data Dot which HSV has?
or if i was to ingrave say some details on the inside of the rims would there be a system that i can register with the police or anyone?

i doubt theres much you could do to trace them once theyre stolen. i think some people engrave their licence number onto the wheels.
however, i wonder if its possible to hook an electric current up to the wheel nuts. give them a bit of a shock when they try unscrew them.

Just get gorilla lock nuts man. The ones that spin around so you cant unscrew em with other stuff.
They are like $100 for a set of 4, but cheap insurance.

I know Tyrepower have them, as thats where I was looking at them.
I've asked at a few other places but they didnt have them so Tyrepower is the best bet.

shock sensors also would work yes???
I know my mate had them on his VB, I used to set them off with the VN, & if I didnt I would kick his tyre when I got there, so he would hear me at the front door from out the back in the shed

Yeah alarms are a good bet. Knock sensor and microwave sensors combined with a pager alarm like mine help so when they set the alarm off the remote goes off and you can run to your car and beat their little theiving heads in with the trolley poles you keep in your car....
Tilt sensor is a good idea too...aint got one of those
