Fastest VK in Australia

Hey Guys
I know its a big call, but i think I have the fastest V8 Commodore in Australia. Anyone know of one that is better. Genuine Holden V8 (STROKED TO 383)

That was with a 60 ft time of 1.42, recently changed to methanol and went out to an 1/8 ile and did a 60 of 1.32, no et as it went up in smoke after that lol.

This is an all steel car and all real glass, no fibreglass or lexan etc.
Does anyone think they can beat it.

Doubt you'd have the fastest there, no offence mate. Remember when talking v8's you have to bring in blown ls1's etc... they make a quick beast

However that does look like a very very sweet car...

No just mean the fastest naturally aspirated v8 holden in any commodore,
Ye Mattman, i wasnt putting it up against Eddies or those guys with the 1300 hp twin turbos. I mean against any other Commodore (any model) that doesnt have twin superchargers. I cant think of a car like that that could beat mine.

are there any other commo's that are pulling 9's N/A? can't say i've ever seen one, but then again theres probably a LS1 getting around worked off it's nut im sure they'd pull into the 9's.
but good effort none the less i can't wait till i have a 9sec streeter

6.3L actually, and no you can't. Forced induction is an entirely different kettle of fish.

The fastest N/A holden V8 on the SC forum list is 10.1 in a 383 VP SS. I haven't bothered looking any further. Anyone heard of anything faster?

i have heard of a harliquin vk drag car that pulled 8.88 i think n/a but that is far from being a street car like this beast

Damn straight! If that 8.449 VP is road registered with N/A motor I'm absolutely blown away! That'd be friggin scary!

Yes they are all N/A mate. If I inclued nitrous, super and turbo charged the list is about 10 times that size I dont know much more info on the VP mate.

There is basically no street legal sub 10 second cars. They have to run a full cage, and tubbed to get any tractin both big no-no's. The engine setups are also not street legal, emissions, noise, etc.

Fastest VK that I know of would be HOSTILE which runs 9.8 @ 138mph from a 355 stroker. So I would say yours would be up there with them!
