    Default VN Conking out

    Hi fellas,

Im new to this and was wondering if anyone out there can help me. I have a VN 5.0 Berlina S/W and when I start it, I gotta turn the key a few times before the engine kicks in. When it does kick in, I haveto rev it coz if I take my foot off accelerator, it cuts out. aaaannnnd.... when driving, when I put it into park or neutral, it conks out again...

CAS its quite possible its slipping with the different movement of the engine in different gears eg park is alot less idle to drive as you wouldnt know but if your thinking why could it be like that when drive is rougher well answer i found out with mine yesterday when i got it replaced was it didnt conk out in those other gears as it was rough enough to keep things in check and let it do its job but park ect it wasnt moving enough to stay stable figure that one lol and my car continues to be a freak lol

    Thanks guys,

I work nights so dont get much time on here but while i am, the only thing Ive done is take it to the mechanics for a roady and thats it. Havent been driven hard as I have only just purchased it. Gearing change is normal, no noises, no hard shifting nothing. Its perfect while driving. No duel fuel, just a standard VN. I will have to check out the fuel filter.
