    What about a car crusher?
Seriously the car is your own & I dont understand why you would copy everyone else & put big rims & an aero kit on. This has been done to death.

How about you piss off the idea of bodykit & rims...

Get all needed bushes & suspension componants.

    Service her well...

Then try to sell it saying it's in good condition an buy a better car

    Cheers

fark........very helpful i see. the way i see it, u have ur car and ur happy with it all u want is for it to stand out a lil bit, not go to the crusher or sell and get a newer one. i would get some 17s and lower it a bit. IMHO i wouldnt get a kit for it. give it a respray instead, nice bright colour. but if u live in a town like mine an aero kit would be the way to go, coz ive never seen one gettin round here and prolly never would but if i did, FARK, prolly cream me dacks. but its up to you.

I reckon a Calais kit and lower it on stockies... My personal opinion, theyre the best looking VLs around... Good luck with it whatever you end up doing

    But wait... There's more!!

    But that's not all!!!

should try posting in the vl section as you will find that most people dont like vls as tha r hektic....
you will just get tips on changing model to a vn, and then if u get a vn you will get payed out and told to change to a vs or something, it never ends

persnally, im going 18s, lowerd a bit, 35% tint and resprayed all one colour, not two tone

It all comes down to what YOU think looks good.. it's good to get inspiration from other cars (pretty much everything's been done to the VLs including fitting a VY front end onto them), so go with what you like best.

If you want to stand out try to do something as different as possible, coloured tint maybe (if that's even available/legal), retrimmed interior in non-standard colour (don't see many black interiors), powder-coated wheels, lip spoiler, colour coded mirrors/door handles, get certain things chrome plated (don't know what, maybe boot garnish/tail light eyebrows), get an antenna that comes out of the rear glass (if possible) and fill in the hole in the guard, umm can't think of much else and you never know these could be common as well..

Seriously it's near impossible to come up with a truley unique idea that also looks good, and no matter what you do come up with there will always be people who don't like it. This is why it's important to do what you want, because you'll be living with the car everyday.
