damn ill try gian
You could try a VHT engine paint from repco and then a clear over the top
You may have to prep the parts up like a quick scuff with a scotch brite pad or similiar
And use a plastic primer. But make sure the paint you use is heat resistant.

There are heaps of the high temp paints and engine enamels around, i would use the VHT stuff myself, as i have used them in the past and are top quality.
you dont need to use a plastic primer - scuff it with very fine sand paper then just before you paint it give it a good wipe down with paint thinner, this melts it just slightly and really lets the paint bite into it
its pretty much what plastic primer does anyway
Japanese scientists have created a camera with such speed that they now can photograph a woman with her mouth shut!
you will need heat resistant paint
or get it heat coated and paint it
there is a guy in syd called competition coating, he can do it for you, any color and guarantees it wont peel or crack or fade
If any of those bits get hot enough to need heat resistant paint they would be melted to the bottom of your engine bay by now. Use any quality paint & you will be fine.
Looks like I'll be tidying up my engine bay soon.
