Cool Where to buy Interceptor/Chaser/Pursuit Rim in melbourne (Silver)

    Hi guys,

Just wondering where I can buy Interceptor/Chaser/Pursuit Rims in Melbourne (Silver). I am after standard 15 x 6 inch rims plus a set of the centre caps and black nuts that come with em or maybe even siver nuts as long as the dont eat away the plastic of the centre caps.

    Cheers,

    Milan

how about holden for a start, wreckers would have plenty kicking around.

holden will have the center caps and nuts.

Centrecaps from holden are expensive as.

    From memory they're like $60

Wreckers in melbourne (east) dont have them either, i went to about 8 in search of them and could only find 1 set that was cracked to the shithouse. finally found a set that was in reasonable condition, but i found it a struggle

The price for them is only going to increase aswell as you cant get them from holden any more, they have stopped production as they dont fit the VE centers. I have two sets, both off ebay paid $18 delivered for one set and $26 for the other both like brand new.

I thought they didnt come in 7" until the vt series 2 onwards on the 9c1's and the vu ute. Up until then apparently they were still the 15x6J rims jus in silver and have a bigger lip to prevent tyres from rolling off in pursuits. Don't quote me but thats what i have herd form quite a few ppl.

Here is the tyre placard off a VT2 9C1

    225/55 R16 95V 7JX16
    225/50 R16 92V 7JX16
    215/60 R16 95V 7JX16
    225/60 R15 96V 6JX15
    205/65 R15 95H 6JX15

Are the VE chaser rims able to be used on a VS or is the offset too different?

    stock rims = 6x15 (black)
    cop rims = 7x15 (silver)

later they made 7x15 more common around vt models, even later again vx or vz they have 7x16 but hard to find

hey guys. i saw these on ebay. There listed as 16" x 7" and have 12 slots??? Are these GMH wheels or some different make?
Ive seen 15" x 6" which have 16 slots and the 12 slotters just look better coz the holes are bigger. Anyone know where one might get these please?

few wreckers around the south eastern way have them, same as tyre places.

you can get centre caps off holmart, INTERCEPTOR CAPS SUIT ALL VB-VZ 15 INCH STEEL RIMS (SILVER) that suit VB to VZ 15" rims, $22 each, bit steep but ive had a bit of trouble finding centre caps lately and dont mind forking out a bit more.

mate also for something different bmw make an alloy rim that looks exactly like a pursuit wheel and they fit holden stud pattern, might take a bit of hunting though.....they weigh alot less than the steel ones.....

Except for the obvious lack of centre depth....
