Default Lowering my VT questions...

Hey all,

I would like to lower my VT to the first drop which is 35mm I think with King Springs. The question I have is do I need to change my shockers as well? They are standard Holden shockers that come with the VT. I hope not but if I have to then thats what I'll do.

Cheers,

Semtex

You don't need to if you are only going to low springs but I would recommend it if you can afford to. If they are the stock shocks then chances are they are fairly close to being buggered.

Why would they be buggered? Is it essential or not... If it is then Ill consider it

cheers

i think he's saying if it's the original shocks, chances are they're gonna need replacing too.

it's not essential, deffinetly not with lows.
if you go any lower though its highly reccommended you go for shorter shocks

Its essential that you change the REAR shocks. Fronts are ok.
