Over 1 year ago my work mate bought a brand new Ford Falcon in Brisbane .... drove it home about 2,000 klms to Mt Isa ..... had it to Ford here for a service and a few other times for warrantee thing to be fixed... for his last service he decided to take it to R.A.C.Q. mechanic .... now look at the pic what the mechanic picked up ... apparently these spring clamps are put on the front springs when the car was transported from the factory in Melbourne to Brisbane on a car carrier transport .... I wonder who done the Safety Certificate for registration .... and what damage this has done to the suspension ....We are telling to get up Ford about it ...

Ahahaha, yeah I've heard about this before. I'd be tracking down the fella who did the dealership pre-delivery checks and beating him with the things. Apparently the effect on ride quality and handling is quite obvious, I'm surprised the owner didn't notice them.
Beau Duke: Man, I'm never gonna get outta this car again. I'm gonna live in it, I'm gonna eat in it and I'm gonna make sweet love to it!
Luke Duke: You mean you're gonna make sweet love IN it.
Beau Duke: Oh no, I'm gonna have sex with it.

This thread isn't intended to pick on Ford is it? I'm sure every dealer including Holden have all done something stupid at some point.
Car theives should be treated just like horse theives and cattle rustlers in the days of the wild west... Hang them!
Don't be stupid. Power isn't measured by the size of your tacho
