i brought a set of solex locks for my vl,
but some how when i was mucking around i got the lock stuck half way, i carnt get a key in there, anyone know how to fix this thanks

You should've got an 'emergency key' with the kit. which is used to centre the lock again. my old VLs drivers lock decided to stay ****ed so the emergency key became the only key.
If you don't have one, best be getting a friend also with solex locks

guess you didn't get one with your set. they might be called an alignment key. As i said, best be posting on here to find someone with one, as thats the only way i know that you can get them centred again. Sorry i don't have a pic, but i don't have those keys here anymore, as my sister now owns that car.
The emergency key doesn't have the bit sticking out the side that goes in the slot in the lock. If you dont have an emergency key then just file or grind the little lug off the side of one of your keys so it will go into the lock in any position.

not nessacarily, i forgot about the inside of the key, with the different indents. other keys shouldn't go into your lock. but then again, i've never tried.
