    Default Flushing the Brake Fluid

Hiya...I think I am having one of those Mondays when I can't think of what to do. A mates car needs his brake fluid flushed, and new stuff put in. Do you use metho or turps to flush it?

Gotta be careful what you use with brake fluid as the fluid doesn't mix well with a lot of other substances.

Flush with clean brake fluid. Just draw it through the lines. Then using clean, new brake fluid, have someone on the pedal and someone at the caliper you're bleeding and have them push the pedal down to push out the air and draw the fluid to the bleeder on the caliper. All the time having the hose you're bleeding with submerged in fresh brake fluid.

Sorry for my bad explanation, maybe a search could come up with more useful instructions than my vague ones, haha.

If you have a service manual or something it could help.

yeah jus did mine last week just use new brake fluid if the other isnt too bad or old start with the furthest away from the master cylinder so if its on the drivers side of engine bay go
    back left
    back right
    front left
    front right
than get one person the pump brake pedal hold it down than undo bleed nozel thing, bleed, tighten repump pedal hold down and repeat bout 3 time for each one
    pretty thats it

ps make sure to keep master cyliner topped up

yep, new fluid is all you should use. If the current fluid is as dirty as you say it will be easy for you to tell once you have flushed the old fluid out of the system. Just tell whoever is pumping the pedal, not to take it all the way down to the floor (the pedal will drop as soon as you undo the bleeder screw) as this may force the piston from the master cylinder. And keep an eye on the master cylinder to ensure it is topped up you do not want to run it dry.
