Okay well last week, im driveing back to melbourne from phillip island.. an all of a sudden my Vt just cuts out! At 1st i thought it must be out of fuel... so trekked my way to the petrol station an back an filled up....... nope not the fuel. So i got the racv out, after messing about for 15mins he figured out that there was no fuel getting to the engine... not even a drop.so it must have been the furl pump! by this time it was 530pm, so he gave me two options, i could pay $3.50 a km to get it towed back to melbourne, or i could get it towed back to his workshop for free an it would be ready the next morning. so alrite i decide to stay the ngiht in a small place called koo wee rup(only got one pub). at my expensive ofcourse!
so the next morning i get a ph call from the mechanic, saying hes found another problemarghhhhh
so i went down to the workshop an he showed me the fuel module which hold the fuel pump an sits in the tank! WTF??? its bloody bent to the ****. an he cannot explain how it happend at all. its like someone took it out an stomped on it!
so anyways $450 dollars later im back on the road! errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
angry
ohh by the way i only just brought the car 3 days before that!![]()
that suks man
im guessing you think/ know it was that mechanic who broke it?
i hate that when people be really nice to ya and say yer no worries ill fix it for ya, no worries. the next day, ohh i found this and that wasnt right, this was out of place ect. but yer thats jus people tryin to get money outa ya unless it really needs to be fixed
i dunno if it was the mechanic...... it was an old bloke, that liked my car an didnt seem to be dodgy at all......... but i guess u never know in this day an age!
dont blame the mechanics.... blame the previous owner, do you really thik mechanics would still be in business if they went around destroying their clients cars to get more money
yeh and plus if cars arnt broken then there is no money to be made
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
