Hello to all, can anybody tell me the difference between the vx series 2 clubsport and the vx series 2 clubsport r8, i know they have bigger brakes but what else?
umm, R8 gets coulsen seats, little more power i think, and the big brakes as you mentioned. thats all that comes to mind at the moment.
i think its just brakes, interior & decals.
i think the clubsport has 260kw and the r8 285kw
We got rep back, yaaay!
How much extra would the R8 be over the clubby? roughly...

They have the same power output, 255kw.
The Clubby and the R8 have different wheels to each other.
The clubby uses the same brakes that a VX exec has, just a different pad. The R8 runs the 330mm front and 315mm rear slotted rotors, with a larger HSV logo'ed front caliper.
The R8 uses the upper spec (berlina, calais, etc) drip moulds.
The R8 uses the Colouson seats, climate control, maestro stereo.
They are the main differences that I can remember.

Thanks jd but i think thats in the vy series 2 clubsports.
I think what you say is true, i was thinking if there was any spring shock differences, and those standard brakes would be shocking, the r8 are beauties cant imagine driving one without them but they need detailing to make em look good, like you said only logéd on front set, thanks for your reply.
dig................... but yer.............. the big brakes with 4 spot calipers are an option on R8 not standard though on the standard clubsport you get standard rotors and 2 front and 1 rear though an un-upgraded R8 gets 2 spot front and 1 spot rear with slotted standard size (296mm) rotors. The upgraded rotors on R8`s are slotted and crossdrilled with the specs you mentioned they are standard on GTS and are paired with 4 pot calipers and cost $2600 as an upgrade on the R8 new (VX) and can be identified as large red and have a HSV sticker on the front caliper, just for anybody who`s looking for a clubby and needs help. sorry for the dig, lol
