Hey guys, since i bought my car 5months ago. There has been brown glue on my body work, I have tryd to get rid of this with wd-40, wax+grease remover and it will not budge.
Does anyone know what this is? and how to remove it easily.
Thanks
that looks a bit like wood glue builders use
heavy duty glue.
good luck gettin it off mate![]()
Yeah possibly, ive always looked at it. And thought what the previous owner was doing/thinking =/
I really want to get this off, all ideas will be tryd.
tried petrol or prepsol????
Eeeeek.... It doesn't look like it's going to come off to easy. One sure fire way to get it off, would be to sand it back then repray it. But apart from that, I can't think of anything that would get rid of it.

God must love stupid people, He made so many.
try acetone or eucliptus oil ..... or try a cutting compound polish ...
it looks like someone drove over some caramel, lol
but seriously i dunno what it is, but if its been on there long its probably not coming off too easily. if none of the wax and grease remover type things work try using very fine sand paper to work it away...its in the wheel arch so you wont notice and little scratches.
if you dont want to sand the paint, get a cloth and a metal ruler, and cover the metal with the cloth so it doesnt scratch the paint. then put petrol or some cleaning agent and TRY and scrape it off.
If it is some sort of glue, ide suggest go to a hardware store or car store and ask them and they might give you some more ideas
hahaha sorry to say noy but a caramel wheel will remove this
as stated in other threads crash shops have them and can either do it for you or put you onto someone who sells them
Japanese scientists have created a camera with such speed that they now can photograph a woman with her mouth shut!
i thought it looked like contact adhesive. we use thinners to get that stuff off. dont know how good itll go on the paint work but!
