    Default New Member Introduction

Hey Guys, My name is Andy, come from sunny BrisVegas. I have just got my p's and I bought a 1996 VS II Berlina Sedan, in maroon. Genuine 126,000 kilometres, fully optioned. I have just bought a genuine Eurovox Premium Audio System and 10CD Stacker (from a VS Statesman) at a wreckers here in brisvegas for my sweet new ride. Thinking of getting a set of VY SS or VS II Calais wheels for it. Just thought I would say gday and introduce myself to all you guys here. You seem like such a cool group of ppl.

    Take it easy,
    Andy.

sir cruise alot, i notice you have a vs 2 as well. the reason i got mine was that i liked the low kilometers and the colour and i heard that the vs's are the best model commodore that holden made up until now, vy's, vz's and of course the new ve's are excellent cars, but holden were onto a good thing when they made our's hey? have you noticed that you sometimes have to tap the fuel gauge on your vs, because i have 2 with mine if there is hardly any fuel in the tank it sits on empty? the bloody dealer at chermside where i bought it wouldnt fix the air con in it, and it needs a new ignition switch and the ******** put graphite powder in the lock in a pathetic attempt to fix it, bloody lousy if you ask me. it needs a new switch, no question. racq had to tow it from my place at mcdowall to chermside, tis all fixed now.

anyway, thanks for the friendly welcome and i will post some pics of the car as soon as i can. you guys will love the look of it.

yeah, the series ll VS is a good'n. they have their problems like all models, but are a great car...not sure if they could be dubbed the best though, im actually a big fans of vp's! lol
i havent had any dramas with my fuel gauge, there's a thread on how to fix that in the vn-vp section if you want to try. its very common with the older model commodores to have "sticky gauges" that wont work or need to be tapped to start working.
