Has anyone thought about doing a FAQ or adding a sticky relating specifically to suspension. Even more specifically the components and how they work and their purpose and include diagrams. Things like radius rods, panhard rods and trailing arms etc. I can do most work on my own car but I'm still a novice when it comes to suspension because no one ever explained or showed me.
I'm sure many people are in a similar situation to me where I have bushes that need replacing because of things like front wheel castor problems etc but I've been bulls#@*ed to by a few suspension places (big names that shall remain nameless) so I've been reluctant to do it until I learn more and know more about what they're talking about
Anyone?

Thats actually a pretty good idea.

A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any other invention in human history, with the possible exception of handguns and tequila.
i'm gonna take pics and write notes when i replace my VX rear bushes with the adjustable ones .... not really sure when ... i got 2 cars to sell first then do a bit on my Daewoo so I can move it and use the concrete foor to put the VX on stands and drop the IRS ... then I'll write up a HOW TO if I can do it ....
You're a champ! Thank you. Don't forget the front suspension too. It doesn't really have to be a how too, just detailed labelled photos would be great to show 'this part is this and that part does this job' etc. Although a "how to " would still be great.![]()
