whats up my ride is a 96 model vs ute. fairly stock engine wise except for a 2 and a half inch high flow cat back.

but my question is,
what mods can i do engine wise to get the most kilowatts i can.

ive looked around at super chargers and yea deffinlty thinking about it. but yea what else could i get done? and the cost if you know?

Its just the quesion mate. Its incredibly broad, and you do not mention whether its a V6 or V8, but im guessing its a 6.

You could stroke it, for around 5 grand I think, for the 4.2 litre stroker see the COME Racing website.

You could get a cam and chip package at around $1500 from Crow Cams. Again see their website.

Or you could get some high ratio roller rockers from Yella Terra or FIT. The higher the ratio the better I say

But there is still so much more you can do, such as shaving the heads etc. Its virtually never ending.

if you are thinking super-charger..... then its better to get a complete super-charged engine and sell yours .... super-charged engined is all different excpet the bare block .... standard engine wont take the super-charger PSI if you up it like the real engine can take ...

I know people say i am predictable for saying it, but for the money you would spend on getting a six to be half fast, why not just transplant a nice 8?

What minux said.. Especially if you havent started spending money on your car yet, i'd just go buy a V8 instead.
