have you checked the basics (eg. battery, etc)? does it try to turn over or nothing happens when you try to start?

try to check to see if fuels getting to the engine, check the injectors and spark plugs, any other basic things you can think of to eliminate. hopefully it won't be a major problem.

    http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...0&d=1136804870 - for checking codes.

to check for spark remove a plug lead from plug (no 4 easy to get at - middle drivers side) and place a screw driver (WITH RUBBER HANDLE) down the guts of lead where it clips over plug and the hold near earth point - approx 1" away and get some one to turn key for a second or 2. DO NOT HOLD ONTO SCREW DRIVER BLADE as it will shock you.

something for you to try as 42 refers to the DFI module - the plate that the coil packs screw to a the front of the engine.
wiggle aroud the wiring loom to the dfi module whilst trying to start - if so you may need to regap the wiring terminals to the DFI module. Going into the side of the DFI module is the wiring harness which has a 7mm bolt holding it in place undo bolt and remove harness from dfi module. If you have a small pick close all the gaps up slightly on all the terminals (shouldn't be any bigger than about 2 - 2 1/2mm gap - can check with a drill bit) once regapped refit loom and test. over time the gaps become to large and don't contact correctly - have seen this happen heaps and can also cause a crank angle sensor code to be logged.
