reconditioned motor

hello,

does anybody know how much i would be expecting to pay for a reconditioned 5.0L, and a reco auto to go with it, to replace a 3.8L motor and auto in a VR? also how much would i be looking at for labour to get it installed.

yeah but i like my car haha. im in the proccess of looking for an SS or v8 calais and then it'll be sold but yeah a motor swap was always an option.

but still anybody have any prices?

hmm, id say about $2500-4000 for a reco engine and box. really depends where you look for it.
then probably $1000-$1500 to have your current engine+box removed and the newbies put in.

Its alot more than just having the engine and box put in though. Front suspension (springs and shocks) and K frame etc.

save your money and buy a V8 car
can get some real bargains these days with the petty price where it is

yeah im planning on getting one, i'm just looking at my other options. i love my car and what i've done to it, but i want an 8. theres my conundrum
