    Default Best way to spray..

My wipers? hi guys I have taken my wipers off for a spray, im going to spray them white.

Before I go ahead, can I just spray over these with no problems? or should I sand them back?

And will touch up paint work good?

    Thanks

I'd give 'em a quick rub with some 320 grit paper first just to give the new paint something to 'key' onto. The old spray can lacquer paint should be fine for this as well, done it before with my daughter's car (just re-did the black) and they came up a treat.

    320? no way
just use some 800 or 1200
if u dont have any of those use a scotchbrite
plastic primer will help the paint stay on

320 wouldnt hurt them but it is always better to go over it with some finer paper after, i agree with the plastic primer but the paint will still stick without it, just wont last as long

using 400 or 600 grit paper is the optimal way to go. The reason for this is when you spray hi fill or primer over that it will sink in smoothly, then wet rub the hi fill with 800 and spray. but you could just spray em
