Hey people,
All the brake lights on my car aren't working.. The parcel shelf and the two globe lights..
I tried replacing one of the globe lights but the parker filament still lights up (double filament), but the brake lights just won't work..
It's obviously not a car I want to be driving, until its fixed.. Any suggestions?
Cheers
Check your fuses![]()

there could be a short somewere?
Could also check the pedal switch? might have decided to call it a day.Other than that I'd go with Burt_vn and check the fuse too, seems strange that none of them work so it has to be something that controls the whole brake lighting loop.![]()
id guess the brake light switch coz it controls the whole brake light system
Cheers
So does a fuse, and a fuse will cost around 20c, is easy to check, easy to replace..and they are much more prone to need replacing, considering they only live once. They take one for the team, and pass on to a better place. If its not a simple fuse id start looking into things like your switch, but start simple or you will overlook the problem.![]()

Thanks people.. It was just a fuse..
I got a bit worried because just a few weeks earlier both of my headlight globes blew.. But yeah, all sorted.. Cheers..

Glad it's all sorted.Might want to just call in at an auto electricians sometime and get them to check the voltage output on the alternator, both bulbs blown and then a few weeks later your brake light fuse blows.Could be just a coincidence but does seem a little strange that lights and lighting fuses are blowing.![]()
