Hi just wondering if i need to do anything mod wise to install such globes without burning sumthing out in the wiring or whatever. Standard commodore globes i believe are 60/55w these are more powerfull. Bought them already cant really take them back. Some ppl say they r ok, others say i need to change sumthing in the setup. I am confused. Thanks guys and girls...![]()

they'll go straight in but they are guna run hotter than ur other globes and may warp the reflective matterial or even melt ur headlight protectors...in extreme cases
oh yeh and they are illegal....the piggers ill love ya!
Check out my ride here...E Series Chubby
um they will melt
trust me
get normal voltage ones but 50% brighter ones
much better no need for wiring
vts have plastic headlights not glass so be carefull
how would the piggers notice what globes i got they are whitish blue
i got defected for having the bueish ones in there
also after going from blue ones to these super bright ones much better can see more those blue cheep nasty things are a poshut
what ones did u get and where u get them from how much?
i got from repco white star 50% brighter very similar to narva 50+
narvas are like 3 times the price these ones from osram were 8 bux each
changed all 4 globes much nicer on eyes and can see heaps further
all four globes
which all four? u talking high beams too also what u using for parkers?
You wanta know the best thing...
The Narva range of Bulbs are generally Osram Bulbs.... They even have Osram printed on the bulb!
I bought mine before Repco were rebadging the Osrams. The 50% work wonders, in both spot and driving lights. It's well worth it!
Don't put in 100/90's... Your wiring will not cope, you will get a voltage drop because the wiring is not made for the higher rated bulb, and hence get a duller light than you would otherwise expect...
I put the 100/90's in an old Falcon with glass headlight, and steel reflector, not plastic, and upgraded the wiring...
