    Angry Which radar/laser detector?

I'm in the market for a multanova/handheld detector suitable for use in WA, i got done for 49 in school zone $100 fine and 1 demerit point, a few months back dont get me wrong im not a hoon it was a genuine mistake as id only lived in oz for a couple of months then, but it annoyed me that the police officer wouldnt even hear my mitigation i thought he was a right hitlar. And now i see how crafty WA police are with the multinova's they reckon they dont hide them, i think thats absolute rubbish, so my attitude is if they have an unfair advantage then i feel i should even the odds a bit.

So im looking for advice on the best one to buy, how much? how reliable? etc etc.

thanks from a pee'd off pom

To the original poster. You broke the law, you admitted it, why the hell would any police officer have to listen to you dribble crap on why you were illegally speeding in a school zone of all things. Now you want people to tell you how to get something so that you can try and illlegally do something int he hope of not getting caught.

You my friend are this weeks JC idiot of the week.

Hey, I want a radar detector too! So let him off. Speed cameras arnt for safety, they are just for cash. Getting booked for going 73 in a 70 zone on a 4 lane road at 2 in the morning is just ridicules. Only problem is Victorian cops (other states?) can have radar detector detectors, and you can get fined for having a radar detector. Or so I have heard anyway.
