Default hunting for a vt ss

Hi everybody sometime hopefully soon i'll be joining your family...

Located on the Gc if that matters in regards to price..

Basically what i'm looking for is a VT SS..

I know i want a manual..

but i'm unsure if i should go with the S1 or 2

i like the thought of the ls1 and the extra 41kw..

From what i have seen i should be able to find a fair example of the s1 for 11k and the s2 for 13k (sound fair?)

Any thoughts on the difference between these two
(previous and current owners please speak up)

Seems i might have to travel to get just the right car since the manuals are rare.. anybody flown crosscountry to pick up a car before?

And any advice towards things that i should check on these models when buying would greatly appreciated.

T

a Series 2 LS1 for 13k, will be far from a fair car. Look to spend upwars of 16k for a decent one.

I wouldnt touch a series 1 simply because it costs too much to go fast If i were you id look through the for sale sections at LS1.com.au you will pick up a car that has already been lowered, tinted, zorsted and tuned for an excellent price.
