    Default 3.6L 190kw Alloytec V6

Hello everyone! My name is Nick Carter and I reside in the USA.

I am the proud owner of a Cadillac CTS with the 3.6L VVT V6 engine. My Aussie friends might know this engine better as the DOHC 3.6L Alloytec V6
    (190kw).

I have had contact with several people from Australia and that is how I found out that the same engine in my CTS is also used in the Holden Commodore.

Basically, Im looking for ANY information on getting more power from this engine. Im looking for information on companies that make ANY performance parts as well as opinions on the parts available.

At this point, the only performance modifications available in the USA for the 3.6l Cadillac CTS is cold air intake and exhaust systems. I have been working extensively with PowerChip USA and Australia to get their performance tune deployed in the USA but that has not been finalized just yet.

I know Pacemaker makes headers for our engine. Any idea how much they cost or do any of you have opinions on them?

AGAIN- I am looking for ANY performance modifications for the 3.6L 190kw DOHC Alloytec engine.

Thank you in advance for any help everyone!

Please feel free to visit us over at www.cadillacforums.com. You can usually find me in the CTS Forum.

Heres a couple pics of my ride:

    THANK YOU AGAIN EVERYONE!!
    Nick Carter

well with pacemaker extractors they are considered the best, there are some arguments between HM owners and pacemaker owners, but pacemaker come up on top.

and with other performance mods, i belive rockers might be alvilble now and i know that i few companies here and in the us are working on bolt on superchargers, there are a few performance compaines on this forum, ask them a few questions and have a look at there sections.
    We got rep back, yaaay!

    Hey mate,

I don't know what year your engine is but this is the VZ alloytech kit from capa. http://www.capa.com.au/kits_holden_vzv6.htm There was also a turbo kit circulating I saw it in a commodore mag I'll look it up and let you know. Looks damn fine as a cadilac. Yeah one of our sponsors like yella terra might have something in the works.

Thanks again guys! Heres some pics of my interior. Theyre not very good but it gives you an idea of what it looks like!

ps- I have good floor mats that match the carpet for the summer. Snow and dirt will ruin floormats! I get ALOT of snow where Im at!

I hope you bought the anti-rust pack cause all that salt in snow can't be good for your car.

I find it has a great amount of power for what it is. With the 5 speed auto its pretty fast. My car does 0 to 100kmh in 6.4 seconds.

My brother has an STS with the 300hp northstar v8 and I can crush him iin a race pretty easily.
