Default Question bout springs

Im looking for some after market springs for my car, but I dont want that low look and go kart feel.
My car is already lowered (brough it like that) and i hate it, bumps everywhere its really annoying.

Are king springs just for performance? do they have a different range eg. soft ones.

Or do you just buy higher ones, how does it work, or should I be looking at a different brand all together?

Just looking for a really nice smooth ride.

How low is urs now.

I havent looked but u should be able to get onse that are softer/higher from most spring manufactures.

Or go get stocko springs from wreckers.

The ruff ride is wat gives u the better handling, sumfink u have to live with for lower/stiffer springs

yeah but i dont race, i dont have the need to speed around corners, so whats the point of having the car so low. Its just a pain in the ass.
When buying springs do they just come in different heights or do they come in different stiffness aswell?
Where can i look for some nice smooth springs.

Generally the higher they are the softer they are.

Id just go get stocko's from a wreckers.

But new onse will feel that bit better as there new.

I wouldn't bother with second hand springs because they probably will be sagged. King springs do make standard height springs because i put some in the back of my old VL when it was sagged in the rear. Try to get FE2 springs. They are factory springs that are slightly lower than stock and will still give a nice ride.

I had fe2 springs in my supercharged VT, factory option. hated it. Good round corners, but **** in a straight line.
Would standard height king springs be a smoother ride then stock springs?

No way to know until you try it. Generally yes, because the stock springs are worn. If you went with new stock springs then you probably won't notice the difference. Where abouts are you?

why not give king springs, pedders, lovells, etc a call and ask them directly, thats your best bet, you can tell them what you want and they will know for sure what to give you.
