Just broke my offroad buggie, need help

hi i just bought a offroad buggie at 4:00pm today, and at 6:00pm i herd a loud click and then it wouldnt go forward anymore, so im guessing its the tranny thats gone, all i does is revs. now im hoping that someone out there has 1 and can advise me on what i may have stuffed, its a 2006 model bigboystoys buggie, it has 2 gears (forward and reverse), then has high and low in forward. any info would help

hey johnny,
just like my mini chopper, it had a clutch but it was only 1 gear.
so i dont think u can select gear, wel im pretty sure anyywas.
bikes are probly diffnt to wat u got anywho

is it chain driven? you could have snapped the chain?

High and low range has slipped into neutral??

hi thanks for the replys. it is chain driven, but the chain is fine, we started to pull it apart toda and found a couple of seized cogs, but nuthing that would make it do what its doing, so tomorrow we will go a little bit deeper and see if we can find something.

yeah, but the 2 hours was so great, loved every minute of it, i managed to come out of a donut and hold it sideways for about 35 metres, loved it. dad recons it wont be something to expensive, but then again if im looking at a new transmission then that can not be to cheap.

lol a banshee im guessing is the 4 wheel motorbike, its not a cheap chinese one, go to http://www.bigboystoys.com.au/260%20ULTIMATE.htm only difference between that one and mine is, mine is a 125cc (small motor) mine does not have speedo, and mine is chain driven. other then those 3 things they are basically identical, ohhh and mine has better lights than that one.
