i've got a turbo setup for my vl and picking up a turbo diff on the w/e. and also i'm only the 2nd owner of the vl. the skylines only done 4,000km more then the vl. and the skylines awd and turbo. but they want about $11,990 for the skyline. both cars are 5 speed manual.

god damn, honestly thats expensive - well for nz prices that is anyway,

awd is no fun tho, keep the vl, tho aparantly you can rwd the attesa system by pulling a fuse that controls the transfer case

The VL has basically the same drive-train as the Skyline, only it's a 2 litre twin cam turbo version of the same motor and has 4wd. So if anything, the VL is a rice-burner too.

Nothing wrong with the R32, they're a nice tough-looking car and they go quite nicely. Personally I'd prefer the quality of an 80's Jap car than an 80's Aussie car so I'd go the Skyline - unless you need 4 doors.

id keep the vl or get a newer skyline, r32z are pretty old and thrashed, plus 11 tho is a bit steep for an r32~

just found out then that the place selling it only just bought it on saturday and only payed $7,250. took it for a test drive feels slow till it hits boost then it feels fast. handlings not as good as i expected it slips around corners before my vl does. mind you i got 245's on the rear of the vl.

If you like tha power of an r32 chuck a twin cam head on ur rb30 add an xf throttlebody, and add the turbo setup u already have to ur car (making a massively powerful engine combo). Also if ur vl out handles the r32 id stay away from it, my r32 stuck like glue and was great when hammered hard into corners

Plus u know EXACTLY wat faults ur vl has, whereas if you buy this new car u have to "discover" the problems and prob waste alotta money in the process.

lol sorry 4 tha lecture juss my 2 cents
