Most socket sets won't have a socket that will fit. I had the same problem with the VT GTS copies I had on my old VN. I had to buy a spark plug socket as it was the only one I had that fit.
As I hadn't put the wheels on yet, all I did was take the offending wheel in and kept trying the spark plug sockets till I got one that fit. Then just kept that on the ratchet in the boot.

Save yourself a lot of heartache and take to a tire joint. They deal with these problems everyday. They will have the proper tools to get them off.
Do you have all the wheel nuts off? Have you tried using an old scissor jack in behind the wheel. You mount or sit the jack up against the chassis or a really strong suspension arm and then wind it out. Hopefully the wheel will fall off before you bend anything. Give it a try from both sides of the tyre. It might just loosen it the first time and finish the job the second time. Remember to sit the car up on stands and chock the wheels at the other end of the car from where you are working so it will not roll away on you. good luck OK.
No it's not NOS it's LPG
Good Rep points are always welcome
Dude, you just need to relax and apply a little bit of common sense to the problem. If the nuts are too tight for you to move, try applying a little bit of wd/40, let it soak in and then apply some more leverage. For example, chuck a piece of pipe over the end of the ratchet to get some more leverage. (only reccomended for cheap ratchets, I've killed one or two this way) You could even get a breaker bar from your local supercrap auto store. If the nuts are off and the wheel itself isn't moving, try giving it a couple of belts with a rubber mallet, or if you don't have one a chunk of wood will do. If you deadset cannot get them to budge, just do what satos said and take it to a tyre joint. They wont charge much (if anything) to pull a wheel off. But if you relax and apply some common sense to the problem I'm certain you'll beat it.
Beau Duke: Man, I'm never gonna get outta this car again. I'm gonna live in it, I'm gonna eat in it and I'm gonna make sweet love to it!
Luke Duke: You mean you're gonna make sweet love IN it.
Beau Duke: Oh no, I'm gonna have sex with it.

Ur car isnt a lemon its a work in progress and things always go wrong when it comes to cars (and computers but dont get me started) Just take your time and slowly eliminate the problems one by one.
