Just of the top of my head I'd have to say Tim's (VNCalais_5.0, now known as Blown V6 Hatch) UC Torana hatch. It's wicked as.

Fastest street car was my RX2 13b turbo which ran a slow 10.2. Apart from that my SS which has a best time of 11.211 with slight back off so as to not get my car banned from calder.

would either be an old mates GT-R 32 (my hairs still stand on end when i think of this) or my mates dads STi with a bit of work done to it(he's an old go-cart champ so going for a drive with him is always a memorable experience) bloody thing's got mist spray...at 2000rpm is shots a spray of mist over the intercooler!

my mates old man always goes on about his rx3, which he says back in the day it would pull 9's, what was it with those old RX series mazdas they flew, i've heard of heaps of people having them and being able to get them to run 11-12's with not much effort.

Most turboed rotary RX2/3's have a power to weight ratio of a Top fueller

I could of cracked 9's it was just too hard to grip, cars weigh bugger all. Best thing i enjoyed was unbolting the engine mounts and box bell housing in 15 minutes and lifting out the engine by hand to do a rebuild

They do. And they don't even have to be rotary or turbo powered. I had a little capella that did 14.3 out of a N/A 2 litre. That was before I had it though. And the guy I had bought it off had sold a lot of the goodies. All I got left with extra was the extractors. But it still hammered. I wish I never sold it. Best car I've ever owned.

Gotta love rx3s there are soooo powerful even unmodified and with prectically no weight

fastest car ive been in was a HEAVILY WORKED (Stroker supercharged and a few little surprises) AMG mercedies kompressor convertable. I nearly pissed myself it waz that fast, my uncle (the rich bastard) decided to race a ferrari along the M4, At about 230km/h I started to get dizzy and nearly passed out. the scariest thing bout it is that its a convertable.......... lol il never get into that car again its sooo evil and looks pretty much like any other merc.

audi rs4, which is too refined. you know it's going insanely quick but you can't help adjusting the climate control and stereo, it's just so quiet and comfy.
my all time fave is the evo, any series but the 9 is certainly quick. you feel like you can beat anything in this machine.

i'm more interested in corners than straight line speed, a lot of drag cars would obviously towel those machines in a straight line but any other type of surface and it's all over.

When I was 19 I had a 1970 XW GT Superoo 351C, ran mid 11's on street tyres and high 10's on slicks.
