have you been screwed too? -witness needed

You may remember my previous thread entitled "HELP, i'm getting rorted by my mechanic!"

Long story short, i got a reconditioned transmission from ************ that was an absolute lemon. The trans had ongoing problems from day one, and i kept taking it back again and again to get it fixed, until finally the warranty expired and they told me where to go.

Well, after months of being screwed around by him, his lawyers and consumer affairs (whome are the most useless organisation in the history of mankind), I'm finally getting my day in court.

In his defence, *** states that he is an expert with 35 years of unblemished work within the industry. I've heard a few second hand stories about other people he's screwed over, but i've never heard from anyone first hand.

If i can prove that Kym has a history of dodgey mechanical work, it will help my case to no end.

Is there anyone out there who has also been screwed over by ******** particular brand of expertise whome would be willing to either appear in court as a witness, or provide a statuatory declaration?

I wouldn't go trying to prove he has a history of being dodgy because that sounds like your trying to tarnish his reputation.
He couldn't stay in business for that long unless he did some ok work.
People always tell of shonky work but rarely mention good work unfortunately.
Just play the card that, yes he may have 35yrs of experience but because you have had ongoing problems with it since not long after it was done, surely his expertise should have come to the rescue long before it escalated this far.
The other point i would take is with the SA Race place that you have a report from.
Im not knocking them but if i were hearing this evidence in court id rather hear a report from the RAA or someone independant as apposed to a place that advertises with the word "race" in their title, it eludes to the cars worked on being used for something other than commuting.
