is there new commodore after VE?

lets wait a few years before we start askeing these questions.... HOLDEN just relaesed the VE... like months ago.. thers a few years left of VE production beofre any plans are made id say...

Too early to ask this question, I'd say definitely there will be a new commodore after the VE, they are too popular to be phased out. The question is - is there going to be a wagon version of VE? I'd be looking forward to that.

i personaly think they have made a disaster off the VE and they need to make a newer model before they loose holden supporters. might as well drive a 4x4.

yeah i kinda doubt they would spend what was it? - a billion dollars or something on the new VE only to give up in a few years on making commodores.

I was been told by so called Holden experts that there was no wagon coming out, you know the type of person, work in a supercheap so they know it all.
I had my baby in for her 60k service and as I was looking at a VE HSV in the showroom a salesman asked if he could be of any service, must have thought I had money?????
We got talking and he said that they had the CEO here about two weeks ago and one of the questions asked was will there be a wagon in the VE.
He said there would be one model so far.
I am guessing that one model will be a basic exec and then I guess who knows if there will be special editions like the SS in the wagon etc.
If there is a SS wagon I will make sure I can try to afford one when the time comes.

i hope if the bring out a new model it nuthing like VE there not the best lookin anymore although the SS and calais isnt bad but they have dissapointed me this time 4 all that money

They would have already made prototypes of the next model. Pilot (next model VF?) cars are well down the development track - They work 12 - 18 months ahead of the release of a model.

commodore and falcon are being outsold by the camry arent they? at least thats what i heard.. even holden and ford said themselves that the commodore name and falcon name are just too old.. (back in an issue of street machine magazine i think) hence the sales are declining a bit.

but i think the VE looks killa and has brought back a lot of buyers xD
