wanna swap my 5L for a LS1 5.7..options??

hi all, i want to take my 5L out and replace it with a LS1 engine and basicially work the LS1, what are my options on this? like where to get it done, places to check out, general advice etc etc.

honestly it woud be cheaper to sell ur series 1 calais and buy a series 2 or even a vx calais with the gen 3 already there. there are lots of things that need to be changed and would get very expensive.

It will probably cost a lot less compared to doing it to a pre VT model since the car did come with the LS1 (later series).

General advice, get an LS1 Calais if possible.

I started a VN project to put in an LS1, the cost in modifying bits and pieces, plus the cost of an engine etc then engineer certs etc it was just too costly.

oh damn i was hoping it would be a straight swap over, wanted to aviod stroking....im all confused (which way to go with the car, stroke, charge, engine swap) i wanna do something big to it that would have good gains.
