stone chip

I have this dirty little stone chip on my windscreen about 1cm across, ive been told to fix it up before it starts spidering out and i have to replace the whole windscreen.
Who's the best to see about this? about how much should it cost?

Depending on where you are there are a few mobile repairers around or you could take it to a windscreen place and get it fixed. It also depends on how old the chip is, the older it is the less likely it can be repaired without noticing it too much because of the dirt and crap that has contaminated it.
