whats the widest tyre you can fit on a stocky?

on a 15x6 rim I say a 225

215 is the best fit for tyre wear - 225 will tram line a bit and put lots of load on the power steering. Also will chop out the middle as the tyre deforms a bit to fit the rim.

yeah going 215 would be the wise choice

ive got 225's on my stockies, they are ok but they scrape on the guards when 2 people are in the back seat at FE2 height...

You can fit bigger then the above but those sizes above will give the best fit.
