Default auot trans TO manual conversion and head unit question

hey guys i got a vs ute, auto and was wondering how much -
    1. it would be to get it changed to a manual, with a decent clutch
    2. how much a lsd diff is?

and revcently i went to install a new head unit, the old one worked fine, cyhanged all the cables over to the correct spots then it wouldnt work, io went to auto barn and they said it has no constant power to the head unit, the yellow cable, the one that holds all ur memory settings like ur radio channels etc, anyway to bypass that>? or to find another constant source of power to connect it to?

    any hel;p appreciated guys, cheers

You don't need to hook up the yellow wire, only if you wanted to keep it's memory. If it doesn't have one just power it up from the accessory feed like the old one was. Should be a red or a white wire. ( on the unit that is )
