    Default Reupholstering

What I need done is my gear stick and handbreak rehupholstered in beige leather. The leather on my gear stick is coming off the top and is quite worn out. The leather on the handbreak is also starting to get very warn. It looks really really shocking in my otherwise almost spotless interior!

I wanna do somethin about it quick smart, so my questions are... Where abouts in melb can I get this done, and how much will it cost?

What needs to be done? do they have to take out the handbreak n gear stick, or do they just leave it in and stitch it up?? I'm guessing they'd have to take em out?

    But wait... There's more!!

    But that's not all!!!

Mine cost me $50 a peice but i watched the guy and i reckon i could do it myself. Just un stich the old one and cut out the pattern in the fabric you want then sew up on a machine. Easy Good luck post up pics.

    $50 each isnt too bad.

My grandfather is a tailor so he's good with the sticthing Might still get it done by the pros. Especially if its only around 50 bucks a pop.

So I take it they dont have to take anything apart?

I'll get some pics up when its done, It'll be as it was, just not worn out n shabby

    But wait... There's more!!

I sourced a new leather 5 speed HSV gear knob with the satin inlay, for $120, came with the leather boot and all. had to modify it to fit the VT (As they are from the VY onwards) looks absolutely awesome. will post picks if you want to check it out. cheers. GIbbo
