Only able to select High Fan in WK Statesman

Anyone know what may be wrong?

Got in the car on friday and when I push the button to increase Fan speed the indicator on the display changes but no air flow until it hits high fan then its like a gail force wind. A/C is working just the fan fails.

Exactly the same thing happened in my WK a few days ago, does anyone know how to get to the fan speed resistor?

After reading another post about the same problem in a VY I thought I would give it a go.

I removed the glovebox by sliding the rubber stoppers out and then just pulling it out off the back clips, then I had to remove a couple of screws in front of the fan speed resistor to get it out. I found the same problem described by the VY owner, the solder had just came off so I resoldered it put it back and it now works like new, as they say in in the Castle, "That saved $180 bucks"
