chrome rims painted to black??

ive got some chrome rims that have been f***ed up from the previous owner and some of the chrome has peeled away, and was thinkin to paint them black or sumthing but dont know how to do it has ne 1 dun it b4 or know how do it??? do i have to peel the rest of the chrome off or jut paint ova it??? thanks

It would be better to get rid of the chrome because the new paint will come off with the chrome anyway.

just sand it back
most likely will need a prime then paint them and clear coat
