Exclamation worked .75litre (750cc) in a 150kg buggy with twin harley exhausts

well as some of you know i have been having trouble getting parts for my buggy, and although i think i have now located the right part i have decided to put a yamaha chopper worked 750cc 2 cylinder enigine in it. it will also have twin harley exhaust (with flame throwers) on a 45 degree angle, coming out the back of it, so it should look really tuff. the engine has a 5 or 6 speed aswell so should be real fun. only problem is, the only person i know to have modded a buggy this mush put a 1.1 litre in it and he then had to put wheelie bar and counter weight it, so it dose not flip on take off. so i guess i will have to look into one of those options. i will also have to beef up the roll cage and maybe put a wider axle on the back so it spins out instead of just rolls. and for anyone who thinks that i over exadgerate when i say roll, you obviously have never been in one of these things at high speeds. i may also have to put some kind of sound drowner between me and the engine as from what my uncle said this engine is "farking loud".

i will need to put in a clutch foot lever and a hand gear selector. plus do some "cutting & pasting" on the frame, to support the size of the new engine.

tell me what you guys think and how hard you think it will be.
    cheers
    johnny

anyone know how i could get a gear lever to go forward and back (like tiptronic) instead of up and down(like how you change gears on a motorbike, remembering that i will have like a 5 foot pole connecting the hand lever to the engine, and the engine cant be turned in anyway
    cheers

well on a motorbike you kick the gear leaver up to go up a gear, and kick it down to downshift. now instead of doing that i need to change it into something i can control with my hand. so i push forward to go up a gear, and pull back to downshift, now i have no idea how to change it, so i need some ideas. im sorry if that doesnt make sence, post again if i need to explain more.
    cheers for the reply

u just have to rotate the gear selector 90 degrees on the shaft, fairly simple really

and with the roll cage i would really put some thought into that instead of asking people on a forum, (it's your life u are risking) maybe an engineer would be a good place to start.
